In tournament play, stealing blinds is the key to winning. So, everyone knows to steal the blinds, but the trickier part is defending them. This series discusses how to deter the thieves and counter-attack against aggressive players. Defending the blinds should be approached differently in each stage of the tournament. The second part of this series will discuss approaches to blind defense in the middle stages. Some methods discussed include dead money shoves, pushing your 3-betting edges, inducing 4-bets, 5-betting, the Hellmuth Trap and the Hansen Outplay.
