A sit and go poker tournament is a mini-poker tournament with only one table
A poker tournament with no scheduled starting time that starts whenever the necessary players have put up their money. Single-table sit-and-goes, with nine or ten players, are the norm, but multi-table games are common as well. Also called sit n' gos and a variety of other similar spellings.
In this final instalment, Christy hits the accelerator and pounds on his opponents as the action hots up. 6-max SNGs aren't for the faint-hearted!

When mass-multitabling, unless you run better than Usain Bolt and Jason Mercier's lovechild you better be able to make tough decisions instantly. In this three-parter, Christy talks you through the intricacies of a live set of 6-max SNGs.
In this video series I will be working with several of the most active DTB forum members to help them accelerate their progress on a variety of SNG formats. The first video in the series focuses on Charette, who is playing 18 player SNG's. As you will see Charette needs a strong framework to use to start making consistent and correct basic SNG decisions. In this video I present correct preflop ranges and a very good 18-man PBJ sheet to get started in these games. Once the basics are in place I will continue to work with Charette in future videos to plug less straight forward leaks. If you are starting out in these games as well, this is the perfect video to compare your play to as these leaks are very common.
Heads-Up SNGs are sexy. However, in order to dominate, you will have to think quickly and accurately. In this Replayer video, Christy shows you how it's done.
At times in SNGs, you are going to have to play big pots with marginal holdings. Christy shows you how to exploit the tendencies of various opponent types and trust in your reads.
In this video we take a look at another forum member's work in the 18-player SNG's on PokerStars. Unlike the first video, DeuceThreeFlush has worked out a lot of the basic kinks from his game but is still trying to get his game ready for moving up in stakes. Here we focus on a common but very important problem that most players face when trying to move up in stakes, how to play the end game. If you are still struggling at the $3.40's and $7's on PokerStars and not sure why you can not crack into the low mid-stakes, this video may provide the answer.
In this video I will describe one of the most misunderstood concepts in SNG and tournament poker, the Block Theory. Otherwise known as "The Gigabet Dilemma" block theory describes situations where the -EV play might in fact be the best play. This is a dangerous and advanced concept, but properly understood, it is one concept that separates the good players from the great. In this video, I'll give my interpretation of this concept and describe a careful action plan to incorporate this theory into your game.
With a tough reg and a volatile recreational player in the same game, Christy shows you the adjustments that must be made. Non-standard lines are explored and comfort zones are widened.
Christy tackles the HU SNGs with considerable success. Tap into his thought process as his controlled aggression whittles his opponents down to nothing.
Part Two. Christy analyses ITM play now that the bubble has burst. Without a HUD, reads are developed based on bet sizing tendencies and ICM dynamics. Watch the chips pass back and forth as Christy negotiates his way towards victory in this 27-man SNG on Pokerstars.
In this video I will put the last piece of the puzzle in place when TallScot and I reunite to talk calling ranges for 6max superturbo SNG's. Having trouble building pivot points for calling ranges TallScot and I take it step by step discussing some of the assumptions that can be made to come up with a small set of useful pivot point ranges for use against skilled and unskilled players.
