This was a conversation I had on April 29th, 2011, with Joe Brennan Jr. He is the chairman of iMEGA, a business association that represents the online gambling industry by lobbying for favorable online gambling legislation, and litigating online gambling cases in court. Joe is also one of the lead attorneys at iMEGA, and one of the foremost experts in the country when it comes to the legal hurdles facing online poker and its legislative path forward. We talked for about an hour and he shared his views on Black Friday, what each of the indictments against the poker sites mean, what the current legal and legislative landscapes look like for online poker, and what poker players can do to make their voices heard.
