In this video we take a look at another forum member's work in the 18-player SNG's on PokerStars. Unlike the first video, DeuceThreeFlush has worked out a lot of the basic kinks from his game but is still trying to get his game ready for moving up in stakes. Here we focus on a common but very important problem that most players face when trying to move up in stakes, how to play the end game. If you are still struggling at the $3.40's and $7's on PokerStars and not sure why you can not crack into the low mid-stakes, this video may provide the answer.

Traditional wisdom suggests that we choose between re-raising and folding when a player has opened for a raise and no one else has yet entered the pot. But there are situations where clicking the middle button is our best option. In this one-off video, I analyze what factors can lead us away from our standard 3-bet or fold strategy. I start with a little theoretical discussion, then get into a couple hand examples to show the theories in practice.

In this replayer mini-series I go through as many river value (and bluff) bet situations as I can. I use filters in HEM to make sure that I don't have a very strong hand. I talk a lot about bet sizing at it applies to the strength of my opponent's hand. I also discuss planning out a hand and how stack sizes affect our river decisions.

This is a delayed commentary 2/4 and 1/2 6-max session where I make several unusual plays at Turbo tables and with different stack sizes. There is a particularly interesting hand where I raise UTG with AQo, then check ship a 66J flop against a 1/4 stack (and lose, but discuss the pros and cons of getting it in on the flop).

The conclusion of the match, I finally caught a couple big hands and made a couple light 4-bets when hoodrich18 started to 3-bet more frequently. The primary discussion of this video is what to look for when trying to get a pulse on your opponents psychological state, and how to use that to your advantage. You'll see him go from confident to frustrated pretty quickly, and I discussed how your play needs to change to take maximum advantage of that.
