First part of a 3-part live play series of $1/$2 6-max at BlackChip Poker. The merge network is a great place to find fish, especially during the NFL season because of the abundance of sports bettors. In this video I talk a lot about how to best find and exploit these guys, and some of the common mistakes that good players will make when they are not used to playing this variety of fish. Some interesting dynamics also develop when there are both very good and very bad players at the table, and I talk a little about some of the common situations that develop that you usually won't see on PokerStars or Full Tilt. I demonstrated one of these concepts against another tight-aggressive player who wasn't adjusting particularly well. Most of the action in this segment was non-showdown hands, I pulled off a bluff raise or two and took several pots down with light 3-Bets, along with many successful c-bets against weak players that did not contest pots.
