In this episode of the Midstakes Crusher I am presenting ways to exploit winning players at your tables. Basically I am breaking down some common tendencies of these players and show you ways to exploit them. Also in this episode I am talking about the approach of general player types. What are the differences of these approaches and where are they flawed.

Eugeniusjr and I go over a session I played at Bovada while we are able to see my opponents' cards. We discuss how we feel about my opponent's actions as well as how to play hands we encounter.

In this two part video series, Katie examines her own 180-man $3.50 Rebuy hand history from a recent game. Using the Hold 'em Resources Calculator, she asks "pop quiz" Nash Equilibrium questions and answers using software. Other key concepts discussed include: set-mining, raise sizing, rebuy strategies, adjusting from Nash Equilibrium, and playing explotively versus unexploitably.

In part II of this series we continue to challenge some of the conventional wisdom about playing a 100BB stack. I look at the risk management side of this equation and in the end wrap things up with the bottom line of how to apply what we have learned.

Part 5 concludes the series as our maniac opponent drops about 600bbs in record time. Lots of action to be sure, but also some key discussions on making the most of the opportunities you do get when you are facing guys like this.

In this video I cover how a beginning player should tackle playing heads up. It is important HU to get a very fast read and then attack so that you do not lose too many blinds in the first few hands of a match. First I run through a short classroom video on how to get reads on the level of your opponent's aggression and adjust your play accordingly. Next I walk through two fairly long heads up matches against both a passive and aggressive opponent and discuss how to implement effective HU strategy against each player type. If you are intimidated by HU play and find yourself not winning enough 1st place finishes, even when you start with a commanding chip lead, you don't need a 1-on-1 coach, you just need this video!

In this segment I will discuss playing with an extremely deep stack, including what strategies to use to accumulate chips and what you should avoid when playing incredibly deep. Some topics that will be discussed include pot control, narrowing hand ranges to pick off bluffs, and getting max value from marginal hands.

In the latest instalment, Christy encourages you to manage the pot size in accordance with your holding and your opponents' tendencies. Watch as he uses range analyses and HUD stats to determine the optimal course of action.

Part 4 slows down somewhat from part 3, but nonetheless features several important discussions about why its critical to not bleed money versus maniacs, while being able to shift your thought process on the fly to counter any aggression from the regs.
