I beleive this will help me have a better understanding of how and why I get to play with a big stack or minuscule stack when it comes to the High blind play. I beleive that it was Greg who explained that it is important to take into account how we ended up with the amount of chips when it comes to med-high blind play and not just our push fold decisions.

So, as you can see I raised preflop and get two callers (CO and SB). Now according to their HUD they have been both playing fairly tight aggressive over 75 hands. CO: 19/9/2.0, SB:14/4/2.5. Anyways, I'm more worried about CO's hand range because he has position over me and is probably sitting closer to the top of his range, where SB is more or less priced in to call and could be calling with a wide range of cards. The flop turns out to be a monster for my hand (2 overcards, FD, Inside straight draw) I believe I counted 18 outs. So, now I have a decision to make, do I bet, check-raise or check-call. This is were I think I may have missed some value in maximizing my profits.

Default Re: KQ suited with a monster draw

Was I able to extract maximum value in this spot? I'm thinking now that a c-bet may have been a more optimal play against these two villains.

2 reasons: 1. I have flopped what appears to be a monster draw with overs (6), inside straight draw (4), and a FD (9), which leaves me with nineteen possible outs. Although one must keep in mind that my over cards may be out kicked against CO's range (AK,AQ,QQ+). I still believe that this may have been an opportune time to build a pot.
    2. I think I get more value out of my c-bet because I think this will let worst hands and wider ranges call my predictable c-bet on the flop. The check/jam is just to strong of play I think now and I am only ever being snapped off by (JJ+,99,44), which is a very small part of their range.

I also don't think a check/call is in order, I believe this would really limit my winning of the pot only by hitting one of my outs, which I may be forced to fold on the turn when I miss which will really hurts my tournament equity after dumping a fat percentage of my stack into this hand.

After looking it over and analyzing it, I feel my optimal line would have been bet/c-bet/jam turn whether I hit or miss. This way I have the opportunity of taking it down by showing the best hand or having both villains possibly wrongly fold their weaker holdings. It appears that playing this hand like the nuts is going to get max value.

    Any thoughts?

I like the way you played it. The is more than enough in the pot to justify taking it down.

As well as the outs that you do want to see there are lots of cards that you really dont want to hit the flop. If any A,J,9,4 or spade hits you are going to be in a difficult situation. I prefer getting it over with earl,y taking the pot and building up your stack.
