Default 10nl, oop with top two on flush river

I'm never sure what to do on these bad rivers. Bet/fold or check/call? Only 16 hands on villain, so no real info.

there is still value to be had here on the river,we're looking to get called by weak aces mainly, maybe qj,kq so with these hands he wont call a big bet,a 1/2 pot bet seems good to me plus it serves as a good blocker bet.
If we did ck and he bet i think we should fold

The good thing is that you are now ahead of badly slow played two pair like A7 or AJ as well as sometimes AK which was goign to call down.

The bad thing is that obviously the flush got there. A bet will still get a call from worse hands though, and if you get raised you are probably behind a lot against an unknown (unless at 10NL 6max the general population is crazy).

Id bet small enough to get a call from AT or better. 1.95-2$ should do the trick.

I think you guys are right and worse hands call more often than air hands bluff. So bet/fold smallish is gonna be best, especially since 10nl villains are almost never bluff-raising the river. Thanks for your comments.
