What would you do on the river?
What line of betting would you do on every street?

That's a tough spot but I think I'd fold the river without a read that he raises small hands postflop. Villain limp-called so he's a fish and fish usually call wide but don't usually raise without a nut hand. The bet/bet/bet line is good. I'd bet a tad bigger on the flop, much bigger on the turn like 70-80%, and a little smaller on the river like 60% or so.

I don't hate a call though because he might think A6, A9, AJ is the nuts. But when I call in these spots they usually turn over the nuts.

It´s a tough spot because you´re very likely behind but you´re getting almost 5:1 and villain COULD have a worse hand (but probably don´t). I think either a call or a fold is fine

    Thanks for the input guys.

I snapped called the river raise and Villain shows Q10o for the nut straight. I should have given more thought on the river but I doubt if I could release my hand. As played, Villains hand does indicate that he has the nuts or close to it. If I used a little more thinking, I would think he was holding either pocket 99 or 66 (for trips) or Q10s. Fish usually limps these hands. Fish would never min raise if he does not have the nuts on river.

This is usually very very true

i think river is a standard call. this line also looks a lot like AJ by him. minraises on the river are pretty callable in these spots vs these villains. if he were to shove over the top it would be a fold for me.

Thanks for the input disco. Glad to know from a coach that a call in this spot is standard and not a donk call :-).

Yeah. I mean you expect to be beat here well over half the time, but getting 5:1, you really only need a conceivable chance of winning, and you have that.
