Default What do you do when tilt interrupts a goal?

I have a goal to play 1000 hands a night HU but lately tilting has gotten in the way. What should I do? Should I reframe the goal?

Default Re: What do you do when tilt interrupts a goal?

Sorry for the late reply. How does tilt get in the way? Do you tilt because of bad beats (which is a separate issue), or do you tilt because your target is unrealistic?

Bear in mind that all goals should be SMART: Specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound. If you are constantly falling short of your volume goal, then it is likely that you have set the bar too hgih for yourself. There is nothing more dis-spiriting than falling short. It might be time to re-assess.

I wrote this article about how to improve motivation when grinding. It might be of benefit to you.

    All the best,
