The Last Cigar, Day 11, 8/26/2010 – More Cop Encounters
Hey DTB, sup.
If you didn't see my blog yesterday I got 2 tickets from a cop. One was for not having enough tread on my back tires, and another was for an expired tag I wasn't aware of.
Today...(this is funny) I'm sitting on one of those concrete dividers that sit, in parking lots that are about 6 inches high and about 3 feet wide talking to my friend. So basically I was blocking one spot in front of some sort of ups/go grab your mail type store... This guy is looking to park to go into mail store and he sees me sitting there, and my friend on the sidewalk. He throws his car truck into reverse screeching the tires, and then screeches the tires again going forward to pull into another parking spot directly across from us on the other side of the parking lot ( a very small distance, the parking lot was only 1 car width lane). Now, there was a parking spot right next to me in front of the mail store, and about 50 other open spots he could have parked in as well. He gets out of his truck and says, "I thought this was a parking spot" with a snide attitude and steaming, he also said something else rude but I can't remember. That was his first mistake. 1. I was having a bad day already and feeling stressed. 2. My friend is Romanian and is very aggressive and loves trouble. My friend says, "What's the problem?" and the guy starts going off about the parking space. He literally had to walk an extra 10 feet, or he could have chosen the spot right next to me and not walk extra at all. I ended up telling him that walking was good for him and there were 200 parking spots around him. He came out of the store and asked if we wanted to kick ass. We said "no". Then he kept pressing it and eventually basically we told him to "F* off and get lost" and some more of that. The mail store kid comes out and says the guy is calling the police...So we keep sitting there talking and 3 squad cars show up and this cop comes out and starts talking to me and asked me what was happening. I said, my friend and I were just talking and this guy came out and started bitching about the parking spot. He took a hard ass attitude and said, "Stop using profanity, etc.." I said..."Ok sir, we were minding our own business and this guy started making a big stink out of the spot" he said something about wreckless behavior and said don't make us come back. The other 2 cops were giggling and waved and smiled at us when they left.
-oh and the cop asked, "Why didn't you call the police?", lol, how rediculous to think that crying to the police about little crap is the answer. Sometimes I wish I was in the mafia so I can administer my own brand of justice.
-as far as everything else goes..
-still ok with food
-need to get in a workout session
-doing ok with my career stuff
-slipped with smoking, but will correct.
-peace.

Haha gotta love morons who flip out over the most minor of inconveniences. Pretty funny as run-ins go.
Glad to hear its all going well, seeing an energy-level improvement yet? Am curious to hear when/if/how severe the difference is.

Hey Hunter, yeah, some people are just so fickle, it’s weird.
The energy thing is night and day. I’m sure the swing in energy surges is magnified by the blood sugar/diabetes thing, but there is a huge swing in energy in the positive direction. I can tell because if I do one thing off track I can really feel it. But immediately when I’m doing the program I feel totally different. For instance, I’ll eat my meat/veggies thing, and then let’s say I run out and my wife just cooks up some pasta for herself and I eat it, I get tired, and my motivation to do other stuff goes down. I mean, honest I ate a bagel for breakfeast instead of some pork loin and salad and my day went half to ****, lol. So I have to say the food is number 1, followed by sleep schedule, followed by excercise, followed by smoke, followed by caffeine.
