DRM, or "Digital Rights Management," is a way to password protect video files to prevent unauthorized use. The problem with DRM is it punishes the user because you can't watch a downloaded video without internet access, if you use an Apple computer or device, or if you prefer a different player than Windows Media Player. DRM requires an active internet connection to simply watch a video because the password must be verified each time the video is viewed. It is also a windows-only platform and only works with .wmv files, so Apple users will never be able to watch downloaded .wmv videos that contain DRM protection.

We have chosen not to DRM our videos because we want to free our members to watch our videos however they wish, whenever they wish, with or without an internet connection. Our videos play perfectly on a Mac, PC, iPhone or laptop. Our downloads are razor-sharp MP4 files that will play in Windows Media Player in Windows 7 or iTunes in Apple OS X. For Windows Vista or XP, we recommend either iTunes or VLC media player.

Every single video on DragTheBar is available as an iPod download that can be played on the iPhone and the iPod touch. These videos are MP4s with native resolutions rendered specifically for the iPod/iPhone. Simply click the button on the video page labeled "iPod Format," make sure your device is connected to the computer, open iTunes, and then drag and drop the file to the iPod/iPhone.

Video mobility is important to us, we want our members to be able to experience our content wherever they wish, so we work hard to make that as easy as possible for you. There's no need to waste your time with separate video conversion software.

We are the only poker training site online that publishes our coaches' results. On the coaches page we provide a link for each coach to the most reputable 3rd party tracking sites. For cash game coaches we use Poker Table Ratings and for the tournament coaches we link to Official Poker Rankings. We believe that 100% transparency is very important so that members can be confident in who is teaching them poker. Poker is a constantly changing game, and we want to show our everyone that our coaches not only won in the past, but continue to crush the games today.

We make it a priority to answer each email we receive. It is very important that our members know we are available with any questions and that we will work hard to fix any problems that arise to the customer's satisfaction. Our goal is to build long-term relationships with our members and a high level of service is an important part of that.

Most of our forums are private, that means you have to be a subscribing member in order to take advantage of them. While this policy may cost us some easy traffic, we feel it's important in protecting the friendly and helpful environment of our forums. When our subscribers are the only ones with access, then everyone has a stake in maintaining a respectable atmosphere and the result is one of the most constructive poker forums on the internet. Furthermore, the forums are moderated in order to keep things organized and easy to use.

We charge a monthly membership fee, but we do NOT charge an upfront fee just to activate your subscription. Activation fees are a gimmick meant to scare customers from cancelling by forcing them to pay a big fee if they want to return. If you are a DTB member and want to take a month or two off from DragTheBar, no problem, we'll be here when you have more time and you can resume your poker education where you left off. We want to earn your business, not trap you into a membership
